Ok that's odd, just installed the drivers you told me to get and the games I had like 18FPS on has been increased to 80 FPS on the same locations where I had problems before. So I believe Nvidia failed with the new drivers. So I really hope they fix it ASAP
Hmm i didn't see any FPS changes, but i did see crashes, sod's law really.
Just hold on a day or two and nvidia will come out with another beta if history is anything to go by.
Well there goes the older card suffers problems theory.
I'd still recommend switching drivers to the earlier version even if no issues seem present, you don't even need to clean install. (just run the driver's for the 295.51, it'll overwrite the 295.73 drivers)
Yeah just don't forget to restart the computer once the driver is installed, otherwise it won't apply.
IIRC you only need a restart on a clean install as windows has to register a brand new driver on startup. (You can't typically run driver files while windows is launched.) If the driver is already present and only needs to be changed, you can simply get windows to reload it without a restart. But yea, it never hurts.
